Need Staff Training?

We provide the following training for your staff:

Article 9
To become a support provider for individuals with developmental disabilities that are receiving services through the Division of Developmental Disabilities, whether they are family or non-family, and all students must acquire instruction and training in the law, Article 9.

Intro to DDD and Disabilities
Learn how to help people with developmental disabilities achieve independence. Also, learn to provide support to family members and other caregivers.

Direct Careworker Training
Choices is a certified as a Direct Care Worker Agency registered with AHCCCS as a service provider of Direct Care Services that include Attendant Care, Personal Care, and Homemaker. This 2-day class covers the fundamentals of caregiving and Physical Disabilities and/or Developmental Disabilities, for those providing direct care services. In addition, the class is followed by a skills assessment to ensure competency.

CPR/First Aid
This class teaches students critical skills needed to respond to choking, or sudden emergencies in the first few minutes until emergency medical services arrive.

Habilitation
This class is for providers who offer habilitation services. This class focuses on strategies for effective habilitation, to motivate and teach individuals with autism.
